Overall, it was very nice but if one is not gambling or in the pool or spa, there's nothing else to do. It was difficult to find out that the fitness center for everyone is on the 5th floor, and that the fitness center on the 3rd floor by the spa is exclusive to spa guests. The pool area was nice, very clean and clean bathrooms, too. The casino dealers were friendly, but the pit boss was not. They had a restricted viewing area for higher club members only, but nowhere enough seating outside, so it was standing room only throughout the fireworks show. We were there for the 4th of July, and the fireworks show was very nice. The room's bathroom is impressive and roomy, well lit and beautifully fixtured. Their diner is, however, open 24/7, which is nice. Or if you’re looking to get your heart rate up, check. Stop into Doubletop Bar on Fridays and Saturdays for live DJs. Dance the night away outside at Las Luces and Dos Gatos every Friday and Saturday while enjoying live music. I tried almost every restaurant, the food is the same at every one I tried, and the food is not very impressive. If you’re looking for entertainment at Resorts World Catskills, you don’t have to look far.
My pillow was dead, I had a hard time reaching the front desk by phone, finally they answered and I asked for new pillows, but they never arrived. The casino will open with 2,150 slot machines, 130 table games, five gaming areas, two casino/entertainment bars a 2,800-spot parking garage and lot and a food court.
Absolutely beautiful place, everywhere including the rooms VERY clean, friendly and mostly competent staff.
